Welcome Home!

Are you searching
for a Faith which does not change according to the ideologies of the day? Or, a Faith that does not follow the ever-changing secular humanism of each generation? If you are searching for a timeless, vibrant and beautiful Faith, we welcome you to All Saints Anglican Church. A House of prayer and worship for all people.

All Saints Anglican Church follows the teachings of Jesus Christ, standing by the historic faith in Episcopal tradition. The guiding principles of this faith are in the 1928 Book of Common Prayer and, more importantly, in the teachings of the two Testaments and in the 2000-year tradition of the Christian Church. It is a faith entrusted to us that we might, with God's help, maintain and enlarge in our own time, and pass on undiminished to those who follow us.

History of All Saints' Anglican Church (UECNA)

Charles Courtney Tew entered The Citadel at its opening in 1842, and graduated first in his Class in 1846. He founded the Hillsborough Military Academy in 1859. This building is a part of the School, as is the frame building to the west and the brick residence to the East, across the street. The Mists of time have obscured the original use of the building but it is thought that it may have been the chapel for the school.

In 1991 this building was in deplorable condition but Frank Frederick, an experienced builder (and former Clerk of the Superior Court) gave the opinion that it could be restored. As a consequence and in reliance on his opinion work was begun and on Christmas Eve 1992 the first service was held. Services have been held every Sunday since at 11:00 AM.

About us:

The United Episcopal Church of North America
embraces the divine truth that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and the Supreme Head of His Holy Body; the Church. Its members hold fast to nineteen centuries of life in the Spirit proclaimed by the Apostles' teaching and fellowship. We hold firmly to the truths of God's plan for man proclaimed
in the authoritative Holy Bible. We also affirm that the 1928 Book of Common Prayer reflects the Bible on worship and teaching. The Articles of Religion contained in the Prayer Book stand in defense against man's attempt to alter God's truth.

We are evangelical and catholic in scope and embrace the broad base of ceremonial practice inherent in the Historic Anglican Communion. We offer you the chance to worship your Lord Jesus Christ in peace, honor and dignity.

We also enjoy intercommunion with the local APCK (Anglican Province of Christ the King) and the ACC (Anglican Catholic Church) churches that are located within the Triangle region as well.
